Platform
Xcribe offers several, popular media for online advertising, including contextually and geographically targeting platforms. We recommend contextual targeting for Internet-based businesses and geographic targeting for more brick-and-mortar establishments.
Contextual Campaigns
Contextual Advertising allows you to target users through keywords. Choose words that you feel speak well to your product. Now, every time these words appear on our webpages, they will appear underlined (as hyperlinks). When a user mouses-over the word that you have reserved, a popup ad that you will have created (within our specifications) for your product will display.
The advantage of contextually based advertising, especially if your product is niche, is that it theoretically enables you to deliver your message to a highly targeted audience and thereby maximize your ROI. We recommend In-Text Advertising for Internet-based businesses because of its cost effectiveness and efficiency.
Geographic Campaigns
Geographic Advertising allows you to target users based on physical location. Choose a geographic region that you feel covers the market that you serve. You may narrow your scope down to a global, national, regional, or local reach. Upload the banner ad that you have created (within our dimensional specifications). Your banner ad will appear on the webpages of every user located within that geographic.
The advantage of geographically based advertising is that, especially for brick-and-mortar businesses, your message theoretically reaches only those audiences with physical access to your product.
Pricing
Xcribe believes in free market pricing but recognizes that free is not necessarily the same as fair. To address this potential discrepancy, we have engineered a new business model for online advertising, which we believe will maximize our profits at the same time as your utility through an exceptionally more effective and efficient method of pricing.
Our unique, “time sharing” method enables everyone with the ability to advertise, concurrently. Unlike other auctions, no bid is low, only the frequency by which your ad displays is based on the amount of money you spend relative to the total amount that the entire advertising population spends.
In the simplest case scenario, if you bid $5, while another advertiser bids $5, your ad will display 50% of the time, and their ad will display 50% of the time. Similarly, if you bid $5, while another advertiser bids $20, your ad will display 20% of the time, and their ad will display 80% of the time.
